 Our Does
At Grizzly Flats Farm,
we know that the health of the Doe before it is bred, will determine
the future health of it's Fawns. That is why we strive for
healthy, consistent feed intake and keeping the Doe's living
environment as stress-free as possible. We feel that a calm
herd is the best way to achieve this goal. For us, this means
interacting with our deer as much as possible - during feeding,
fawning, and just throwing out treats. Also, we rotate the use
of our pens to help maintain the cleanliness of the ground and
grazing for the deer. This helps to control disease and
parasites.
To ensure that we are consistently introducing the
best Genetics possible into our herd, we Artificially Inseminate our Does. Some of our AI sires
